Overview
Descriptions:
- MCHN 1008 - Basic Lathe: will introduce students to different kinds of lathes, lathe safety, blueprint reading and use. Students can use these skills to manufacture all kinds of neat pieces and in all kinds of industries from wood turning, metal working, thermal spraying, and glass working. Mirrors MCHN 1408.
- MCHN 1013 - Basic Milling Operations: will introduce students to different kinds of mills (similar to drills), mill safety, blue print reading and use. These skills are used to make machine parts, metal working, in aerospace and medical device manufacturing as well. Mirrors MCHN 1413.
