Grayson College’s Center for Workplace Learning offers at least 84 American Heart Association (AHA) lifesaving classes per year. Here’s how you can find the lifesaving class that’s perfect for you! 

If you’re not sure of the course you should take, do this-

Voila! There you’ll see a list of the AHA courses. Click on the price of each course to read the course descriptions and see the available dates and times for each course. You can enroll in the course you want by selecting the best match for you and then “Register for this class”. Complete the checkout process in the same manner as you would for an online purchase. 

If you know the course you want, but your schedule is really tight, do this-

Look for the class you want on your available date(s). Click the course information hyperlink from the calendar event, make sure the desired date is selected, and then click “Register for this class”. Complete the checkout process in the same manner as you would for an online purchase. 

If you want to know which AHA courses we offer, but aren’t ready to register yet, do this-

AHA Courses have EMSP as a department code. Use Ctrl F to find all the EMSP courses. When you’re ready to register use one of the options above to register for your desired course. 

Keep in mind that we’re a bunch of humans too, and sometimes you’ll find mistakes in our course schedules like a mismatch between day and date or an incorrect year listed. Give us a call at 903.463.8765 and let us know if you see those things so we can pass along the correct information and fix it for everyone else. 

Another pro-tip to keep in mind is that the MOST up-to-date source of course information is the course information found via the first option on the website. The calendar entries and the available courses by date document are manually generated after the course information on the website is published.
